Increasing heating efficiency by removing air from your pipes
Tadpole is an ingenious device which fits to your existing heating system and removes air from the water in your heating pipes and in doing so can save up to 29% in heating bills! It also eliminates magnetite formation which cause corrosion and shortening life of radiators, pumps, boilers, valves which make the system work inefficiently. The Tadpole has no working parts and is guaranteed to outlast all the other components in a heating system. Tadpole is easy to install with only two connections needed with a job time of less than two hours.
Tadpole works simply by harnessing phenomena created by the circulating pump – as the water enters the Tadpole the action of the pump causes it to spin into a vortex. In the middle of the vortex there is a low pressure zone which is sufficient to draw the dissolved air from solution. As the water reaches the outlet of the Tadpole the action of the vortex increases and the bubbles of air, now out of solution, rise upwards and are collected through a dip tube to be released from the system through an air vent.
Tadpole comes in standard connection size of 22mm to suit normal domestic heating systems. A special Tadpole with 28mm connection size can be ordered for Heat Pump installations and abnormally large domestic heating systems with 28mm pipe work.
